Their new website increases awareness of environmental issues by reimagining how they presented their work and findings to the general public. The site contains an extensive curriculum library for educators, complete with a faceted search, and a weekly trail report that populates a sizable nature photography collection.

The site was developed per standard Drupal best practices and, as such, uses many modules that make it into most sites, including Views, Backup and Migrate, Ctools, Context, Date, Feeds, Features, References, Fieldgroup, File Field Sources, Link, Email, Media, Meta tags, Nodequeue, Webform and XML Sitemap The site also includes a significant number of academic and scientific articles and uses the Biblio modules for a number of those features.

Why Drupal Was Chosen 
Cary had previous experience working with Drupal and they liked it's flexibility, ease-of-management and the speed of innovation that comes from it's great community. They also wanted the freedom and low total cost of ownership that comes with using an Open Source project. The final piece of the decision was finding a good partner in Gorton Studios who was to design and build the site with Drupal.
